Energy recovery ventilators
The ERVi, a new energy recovery ventilator from Greenheck, is designed to fit into limited indoor spaces such as basements, mezzanines, and small mechanical rooms. Its modular construction fits through a 30-inch door, can be ceiling-hung, and is ideal for retrofitting and decarbonization projects. It is highly configurable, with either right-hand or left-hand access and either-end discharge.
Direct gas-fired make-up air units with R-454B refrigerant
Direct gas-fired make-up air units from Greenheck now use R-454B, an A2L refrigerant mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency with low potential to contribute to global warming. Because R-454B has mild flammability potential, the units underwent third-party testing from Intertek for all relevant product safety standards, including UL 60335-2-40. The tests certified that the refrigerant leak detection and mitigation systems are operating at full effectiveness. Greenheck’s Model DGX units, which provide 100% outdoor air, also feature packaged direct expansion (PDX) cooling, housing all cooling components in one compact rooftop unit.
Air-source heat pumps
Greenheck’s air-source heat pumps now function effectively down to an outdoor ambient temperature of 0° Fahrenheit. The all-electric heat pumps, which transfer heat energy from the airstream in dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS), feature a newly redesigned single-circuit refrigeration system. They also benefit from improved controls strategies that optimize heating capability at ambient conditions as low as 0°F.
Upblast powered roof ventilators
Greenheck’s model CUE direct drive and CUBE belt drive upblast powered roof ventilators have been redesigned to include new next-generation features that make these fans even easier to service. The new features available on fan sizes 060 to 240 include: Removeable Power Pack motor/wheel assembly consisting of a wheel, motor, and support pan that makes motor replacement and servicing 50% faster. Toolless Hood Entry lets the motor cover be quickly removed by the push of two buttons, allowing for faster entry into the motor compartment without tools and with no screws to strip or lose. Lower Hoodband Height allows easier access to the motor compartment and serviceable components. Model CUE/CUBE upblast powered roof ventilators are ideal for new or replacement fan installations in clean air, restaurants, emergency smoke control, light contaminants, seismic, and high wind and hurricane applications. Models CUE/CUBE are licensed to bear the AMCA Seal for Fan Energy Index (FEI) and Sound and Air Performance and are UL/cUL705 certified for Power Ventilators, Restaurant Exhaust Appliances, and Smoke Control Systems.
Hooded rooftop fan with mixed flow wheel technology
Greenheck’s new RSQ direct drive rooftop fan, available in a supply or exhaust configuration, incorporates mixed flow wheel technology to improve airflow and efficiency, reduce sound and allow for a more compact design enabling a smaller footprint. Model RSQ is available in 12 direct drive sizes, 7 through 33, with performance capabilities ranging up to 27,100 cfm (46,043 m3/hr) for supply and 25,200 cfm (42,815 m3/hr) for exhaust and up to 3 in. wg (747 Pa).
Energy recovery ventilators for multi-family living
Greenheck has added three new models to its line of high-performance residential energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) that provide balanced ventilation and improve energy efficiency to ensure projects meet code and exceed indoor air quality expectations. ASSURE-140SC is a cost-effective, cold weather-certified ERV with a 30-160 cfm operational range available in hardwired and mirrored configurations. SYNC-110SEA now features precision balancing to dial in precise airflow when paired with the PrecisionSYNC™ Controller and is available in hardwired and mirrored configurations. The most compact ERV offering at 9.75” in height, the SYNC-110SEA is ideal for installations with limited space like bulkheads and drop ceilings. SYNC-180TCE, a top port ERV featuring a 75-200 cfm operational range, offers precision balancing when paired with the PrecisionSYNC™ Controller and 77% Sensible Recovery Efficiency (SRE). All Greenheck SYNC and ASSURE ERV models include a Total Recovery Core that transfers heat and moisture between two crossflow airstreams without allowing cross-contamination. When used for balanced mechanical ventilation in humid environments, the unit helps to reduce air conditioning (AC) energy costs.
Ceiling exhaust fan line with two additional models
Greenheck has expanded its MultiSPEC SP-LP ceiling exhaust fan line with two new high-performance models. Model SP-LP0511H features an integrated humidity sensor that helps control moisture to prevent mold and mildew with 50/80/110 cfm speed selections. Model SP-LP0810W features two-speed operation for whole-house continuous ventilation (30-100 cfm range) to meet ASHRAE 62.2 requirements.
AFL-601 Wind-Driven Rain FEMA Louver
Greenheck’s line of FEMA 361 tornado louvers has expanded with the addition of model AFL-601, the first wind-driven rain FEMA louver to be listed for AMCA 550 High-Velocity Wind-Driven Rain. Constructed of extruded aluminum with a 6-in. frame depth, the unit’s dual module design incorporates front chevron blades with rear vertical rain-resistant blades for superior weather resistance.
Modular Air Distribution Systems for Operating and Imaging Rooms
Greenheck’s new modular air distribution systems accommodate the specialized medical, mechanical, and electrical considerations of operating and imaging rooms. Incorporating laminar diffuser arrays that simplify coordination during design and installation, these modular systems maximize diffuser coverage over the patient ensuring optimal conditions for medical procedures. Model HLC-MPA modular plenum array utilizes configurable diffuser segments assembled on-site to create a single low-profile diffuser array. This allows engineers to make the most of available ceiling space by eliminating the need to individually duct each diffuser.
XG-AFL Series Linear Diffusers
Greenheck's XG-AFL Series of architectural high-capacity linear slot diffusers are designed for ceiling and sidewall installation in variable volume or constant volume air distribution systems. Available in single-section lengths up to 96 inches with one or two slots, versatile XG-AFL Series diffusers can be specified in various frame types and eight border configurations to complement any interior. Combination frames are also available for applications that require two different frame types on a single linear.
